Democracy is supposed to have more than one viable political party, no corrupt credit systems everyone is forced into, taxes that go to healthcare, infrastructure and other useful things. Etc. Just because a country decides to call a capitalist system democracy doesn't mean democracy has failed.
Neither should run rampant. Business runs on money, not benefit to citizens even in ideal form. Governments are supposed to work for people. They are just corrupt.
People don't consider others. Things only mean something if it happens to them.
The solution would be better wages, better worker protections, smarter financial plan etc. Not markets running rampant.
Gotta hit mail and transport, too, as many countries just closed down delivery of things there completely.

I have a severely ill friend who lives in an old building there. It looks beautiful, but gets so hot. We build for cold winters in Finland, so we will get more issues over time, too. But luckily at least in newer rentals they have proper ventilation. Your stock is much older, too. Not so easy.
