Xenosaga was cringe in my memory and now it is not, much like how ElfQuest was cringe in my memory and now is not. Xenosaga has a strong lesbian subtext and ElfQuest is *textually* about a bunch of polyamorous bisexuals and their interracial relationships. I was a repressed lil kid!
It was good but I got distracted by something else before I finished it, I don't remember what. Now that everybody is aping out over Silksong, I feel motivated to finish it. I'm thinking about keeping a video game journal to help me stop leaving games I actually like unfinished.

Xenosaga is actually WAY BETTER than I remembered. I'm not sure why it's tarnished in my memory. This is a great game and I look forward to working my way up to finishing Episode III, which I never did finish because I just hated Allen so fucking much, the endgame of Ep3 made me irrationally angry
for those who care what games I'm playing (ie my imaginary friends 🥹) I'm currently taking a break from my Metroid replays to get through Xenosaga Episode I, after which I will finish replaying Metroid Prime, then consider finishing Hollow Knight before moving on to Episode II
