Yeah man I'm not going to do that because that is not the comparison I made at all. I've posted 1900+ times with countless US-only criticisms and I don't think using North Korea as the widely understood example of authoritarian states at their most extreme is harmful or inappropriate.

America has for decades discussed the totalitarianism of North Korea and widely understands it as *the* extreme example of totalitarianism. Pointing out the ways that the behavior of our government is more and more similar to that already understood extreme example is obvious.
The clear purpose of the comparison was to highlight similarities between the propaganda spouted by state run propaganda from the world's most widely known totalitarian regime, and America's own from the Trump administration. Invoking NK to invoke totalitarianism is perfectly reasonable.
