When Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders lost the Democratic primary nomination, he campaigned for the candidates who won it. That's good party behavior. This, on the other hand, is a self defeating dismissal of the will of Democratic primary voters.
The article I shared didn't say that he won because of that. The argument is that Democrats didn't emphasize economic populist policies enough in their messaging.

"Not enough" is the point. Working class people have been left behind in this country. Democrats were a part of how that happened. Globalization was a bipartisan program. There is no discussion to be had without acknowledging this.
