Today I was in a school library with a trained librarian. The school includes unhoused children and the kids of university professors. Watching how the librarian made all the kids feel welcome. Seeing the stiff, tense, worried body language soften. As they saw, maybe there is a space for me here. 💜

15 years ago today, @bananniex.bsky.social and I were walking through Silverlake's Sunset Junction when I heard a familiar scream in the distance. I said, "That's Diz from the Nickelodeon show OUT OF CONTROL!" We located the source of the scream and THERE SHE WAS. I was so, so, so excited.
