Germany and Poland stopped buying Russian oil via Druzhba in 2023. Also there doesn’t seem to be a North-South connection, if Slovakia and Hungary are getting oil via Germany it would have to travel by road? I’m all for disrupting Russian export infrastructure, but genuinely confused by this target
The Druzhba Pipeline runs through Ukraine, they could have stopped or at least throttled supply to Hungary and Slovakia at any time. I don’t understand why they’re going through the (comparative) trouble of bombing it inside Russia

I read her memoirs and found fascinating how she goes from being an avid supporter of nuclear power (as a former physicist she appreciates the usefulness of it in principle) and over time, the reality of it erodes her belief and she comes to realise that the risks far outweigh the benefits
