Day of Mourning in Kyiv. No music in public spaces, no concerts, no festivals. Yesterday, russia killed 23 people in Kyiv - among them four children 💔 I’m having my warcoffee in mourning silence.

Evening in Kyiv. I went out and bought some chocolate. I’m not really into chocolate, but I today I needed to sweeten either my body or my life. The death toll in Kyiv has risen to 19. People may still be trapped under the rubble.
We need to move on. Kyiv is slowly coming back to life. A privilege to have a warcoffee today and finish my letter to you.
More than numbers. At night, russia attacked Ukraine with 598 drones and 31 missiles. 12 people were killed in Kyiv - among them three children, aged 2, 14, and 17. More than numbers.

This is the residential building with a spire on Khreshchatyk, Kyiv’s main street. It was rebuilt after WWII after the street being blown away by natzi or the soviets.
