Indeed. Even at a first watch with no knowledge of kpop or Korea you can feel the care the creators put into the film. When you start looking up references and easter eggs as well as cultural details, that care is amplified exponentially. AI could never.

It really depends on the cat. Some breeds, and some individual cats, are (much) more vocal than others. No daily walks is true, but not needing constant attention again depends very much on the cat. I've met two cats that were like limpets and wanted to follow along on everything their humans did.

Lots of good songs on the soundtrack, but Golden is the most vocally challenging/technically impressive. Also, and perhaps more importantly, it's a very hopeful and uplifting song and lots of people need that right now.

Yeah, the "cute toy becomes popular" trend comes and goes every decade or so. I remember the Furby was really big for a while, and I'm pretty sure there are one or two generations of toys in between the Furby and Labubu that I have missed.
My image was similar, but more with Gruff *wishing* he had harneses as the kids scatter into the air (two different directions), upp a vertical cliff and growing big to look at a second story stone gargoyle, scaring the pants of a local in the process. :D

There has been an organized effort to belittle, demonize and defame immigrants/foreigners on social media for over 30 years. It used to be sharing posts on phpBB forums in the 90's then migrated to Facebook and blogs, then to twitter and instagram. It got a huge boost when Elon took over twitter.
That people are already forming connection with LLMs even though they are still fairly rudimentary is both a testament to the human ability to empathize and an indictment of the society that didn't take better care of people going through hard times.
Humans pack bond with anything. Remember how emotional some people got from the last messages from Opportunity? A number of scifi novels brings this up; that when machines can mimic human connection well enough, people will form real connections with them and mourn their loss like a human or pet.
People said the same thing about pets not too long ago. Or still do. The issue isn't people forming emotional connections to something with a rudimentary personality. The issue is that the companies making the LLMs can't be trusted to handle the information in those conversations responsibly.
See also the reactions to Opportunity's last message from Mars, the death of K2SO in Rogue One, Cortana in Halo and the Short Circuit film etc.
Remember a number of scifi novels discussing this. Because humans capability to pack bond & empathize is so strong they will form bonds with AI that are just as real as those people form with other people & pets, & the loss of an AI will be felt the same way. Even when the AI is fairly rudimentary.

I find the breadth of the performance indicators rather lacking. Total users and post volume are only of limited used to gauge the health of a social media platform. It's like judging a resturant by how many guests visit it and meals it serves, as if quality of the food, ambience and visitor

Gaining secondary and tertiary knowledge due to a strong interest something is a thing. How and why something becomes a product can be both very interesting in its own right as well as broaden your horizons. So many negative people online puts both themselves and others in such cramped, tiny boxes.
