So yesterday, I had a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with omentectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy and radical dissection for debulking. The ovarian mass was 17 cm, the size of a cantaloupe. Waiting for biopsy results. This happened so fast, I'll tell the story when I recover.

I'm currently guiding a wildlife watching tour that splits it time between Riding Mountain National Park and Churchill, Manitoba. While the focus is on large mammals this barred owl was a special treat. It was just coming off the nightly hunt and getting ready to sleep. #birds ๐ฟ
