My friend moved her daughter into King’s yesterday and her verdict on IKEA was “it was mental. MENTAL.”
I thought the whole point was as a free teaser for the main.

Just picked up my free tree from @hfxgov.bsky.social (with help from friends.) They’ve got a really efficient setup, we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Now, where to plant it…
Saw two does (?) and two fawns on our neighbourhood walk. They ran away when they saw Charlie…and she just wants to be friends.
I'm coming back to say, that Swheat Scoop was so stinky, I went back to Costco's in desperation. It has an "Improved Formula" sticker...and it isn't dusty anymore, but has a very slight scent that Id never noticed before. I can't smell the scent sitting 10' away from it, so it works for me

I was there this morning and it was busy. The checkout lines were very long, but they moved pretty fast, at least.
Since people can’t go into the woods, apparently they’re all at Costco. 😬
My dog decided it was time to cut the walk short when it went overhead.
There was a cat stuck on a roof in the south end and the person who, IIRC, got Fire to come rescue it, ended up adopting it.
I might try that one too! I also may go back to Costco after all this to see if it’s not so bad in comparison. 😂
Dr Elsey’s, $$$, but not dusty. Clumped too well for my cat who pees many X, clay stuck to the pan. Swheat Scoop, Tracks a lot, poor odor control, good clumping, $$$. I might try the Exquisicat clumping litter next. I’ve only seen at PetSmart. Mid price, seems to be good brand?
I’ve been going through litters to try to find one the cat and I both like: Exquisicat Paper Pellets (Petsmart) I love these, the cat does not. Costco Litter, used to be my go to, but I find it a lot dustier than it used to be. Arm and Hammer, (Walmart) the unscented one was very dusty. 1/2

I got Charlie through word of mouth…she was abandoned at the kennel where my friends board their dog. I think they also had other animals to rehome because they had the animal control contract for their county. So it might be worthwhile to ask around at groomers, vets and kennels that you know

Yes! I was getting bloodwork anyway and asked about testing for immunity and they added it to the requisition. Turns out I still have immunity for measles even with one vaccine 50+ years ago. But not immune to rubella.
It’s the best way. Also Spay Day is another option.
