She believed "the big lie" and paid for it with her life. The tragic part is that people can be led to believe almost anything when they are in a cult. That in no ways justifies honors of any kind. Sympathy for falling victim to a cult, sure. But not military honors.
I thought it was too much when Trump announced his candidacy in 2015 and called Mexicans criminals and rapists. That should have been the end of it. I am amazed how much worse it gets every day with no end in sight. There's no bottom to his depravity and the loyalty of his supporters. It's a cult.

Rational, informed Americans are ready for such a progressive movement. Democrats keep trying to appeal to the middle which means they aren't vocal about these issues. I think if they openly advocated for these things, and pointed out how well they have worked out elsewhere, it would be effective.
