I may be late to the party, but this just hit me. Part of the need for green energy was to free ourselves from foreign oil entirely so the US could stop being so concerned about the middle east. They throw money, he ends/reverses the progress made.
If the Roberts Court were not complicit in this coup, Trump would not feel comfortable stating such things publicly. But he knows they will approve whatever abuses of power he undertakes. Together, SCOTUS, Trump & the supine Congress have killed our democracy just in time for July 4th.
