As someone who lives in Los Angeles, don’t let social or mainstream media gaslight you into thinking there’s a violent uprising taking place here. The Trump administration is trying to punish this state and this city. He’s also setting a precedent to unleash troops on Democratic cities.
Trump is trying to block visas for Harvard’s international students out of spite. Punishing young scholars to get even with a university is the act of a small, vengeful man. And the fact that many still cheer him on, mistaking cruelty for strength, is a national sickness.
My soul is starting to feel so broken. There are so many bad people.
