i don't complement the assholes from PGMOL much but i didn't have problem with hooper today (apart from the obvious shove from de ligt on saka). they got away with being physical and we went over too easily but we also got away with our own physicality. consistency is all i want from referees.
defensive result was good but we looked wobbly back there more than i expected. our attack looking disjointed wasn't too surprising (but still sucked). i actually wasn't particularly upset with hooper outside of the de ligt clear shove on saka.
i actually didn't have much complaints about hooper other than the one clear shove by de ligt on saka in space.
i still have nothing but hate for united but they looked good. no, not amazing yet but you can at least see the plan. they still need to shuttle some old bodies out but the foundation is there. they're going to be an absolute threat. i'm not unhappy we got them early before everything gelled.

i actually kind of like it. i don't have numbers to back it up but it feels nearly the same on the left with lewis-skelly vs calafiori. i think you want one of the stable, security guys (lewis-skelly/timber) on one side with one of the wildcards (white/calafiori) on the opposite side.
agree on not confirming a proper backup plan for odegaard. another failure was failing to do something on the wing then relying on a last minute hail mary with sterling. i don't think sterling was a terrible gamble for RW2 (in spite of its result) but *how* we got there was bad in my opinion.
