I’ll return to (er, start) posting unhinged conspiracy theories but we all know tomorrow will be a nothingburger and we’ll never get the truth about his health, right? But in the meantime, my guess is he’s been clinically dead since last Tuesday.

I’m on this kick of trying to understand what makes a great pop song. I don’t have an answer but I know it when I hear it. I just started wondering why some songs stick for 50 years & some don’t. I think “Just Like Heaven” is a perfect pop song but it’s weird structure-wise.
I think even the super poppy early Beatles stuff is genius, and yeah, it’s not really in the words. Melody and harmonies and unexpected arrangement. A lot of bubblegum pop from that era is just garbage even with interesting lyrics.
Max reminds me of Roux, the office dog in my company’s Australian office. Had I not gotten to pet Roux directly I would believe her to be a teddy bear, not a real dog.

In my early days of vibe coding (you know, like 6 months ago) I sometimes asked it to do simple things that I was too lazy to do. I learned pretty quickly that there is a risk/cost to every task and some simple things should not be vibe coded because… too much pain and suffering.

I can handle some level of guitar death, especially after watching old videos of Pete Townsend destroy rare Rickenbackers over and over (there’s a good reason that there are very few originals of his Rick of choice left). Still hurts my heart though.
Not going to lie, I’ve had some pretty dark moments when there seems like no hope & no answers. But I’m still getting up every day and fighting. Tomorrow is my neuro appt. I have pretty low expectations. Managed to write up a list of symptoms & q’s. Anticipating I need to find a better care team.

This has been going on for years. I finally had a couple of things that were serious enough that a doc recommend a scan, but it took 6 months to get in, and now I can’t even see the real neuro. I’m fucking over this.
Yeah I think that is where I am, without that magic GP so far. The symptoms are all FUCKING OBVIOUS and everything is terrible. Seeing a neurologist on Monday (actually a PA, not an actual neurologist) so I don’t have high hopes. I just want some relief or help or anything.
