Just did a bunch of news searches for every Cabinet-level member of the administration and almost all of them have a page full of stories highlighting their recent blunders. Cruelty too, but so many of them are clearly just so bad at their actual jobs.

I get it: during that time, you're used to dealing with the kid's body fluids and trying to protect any things in the vicinity from them and you just do what would have been unthinkable to a non-parent because jumping in and confronting the mess as it appears has become a battle instinct.

Parenting brought so many unexpected experiences.
They were able to replace the cheap airline cushions easily. "These things happen," they said. It was all so calm, except for the elderly couple in the row in front of us who kept muttering to each other about what terrible parents we clearly were and giving us the stink eye.
We approached the flight attendants, apologetic, but they were unexpectedly grateful: apparently, many parents will just leave the evidence of a mid-air shittastrophe without saying a word, to be discovered by accident when someone sits on it and begins to feel it soak in.
"Surely he's out of poo," we said, wrapping him in cloth because our sleep-deprived minds didn't think to beg other passengers for extra diapers. He was not, in fact, out of poo. It came out, squirting past our puny cloths we'd wrapped him in as we tried in vain to reach for baby wipes in time.
It happened on a plane ride where we brought 5 diapers and our kid went through all of them, as if the low pressure in the cabin were sucking the poo from his little colon.
Oh yeah the cruelty and bootlicking are clearly there in all of the cabinet members, it's just surprising to find a few who aren't filling headlines with their incompetence at their main job the way you see with Hegseth, or Noem, or Musk, or Vance, etc., etc.

HUD Secretary Scott Turner: not making any news highlighting his incompetence, putting him ahead of most current Cabinet members.
A news search for Lori Chavez-DeRemer isn't dominated by evidence of her incompetence, though threatening her own employees isn't exactly savvy. Nevertheless, credit where credit is due: she clears a bar many other cabinet members don't.
