I was born end of September. So was my wife, my SIL and my daughter. We have a week of bdays. It's like festival.
Honestly with the wildfire smoke here in summers past, my love of campfire smell has waned.

Two-Eyed Seeing... is a guiding principle where I work. It encourages viewing the world from one eye with the strengths of Indigenous ways of knowing & from the other with the strengths of Western ways of knowing. The concept promotes mutual respect and collaboration. #photography #indigenous #yeg

When my kids were little, we shopped at Costco. They had money tubes on the tills. My son who was little, asked me if the the tubes were how how the people working the cash registers got their hot dogs from the food concession? And I said, yes... because that's the world I wanted him to believe in.

The other side of my life... I work for a charity-run high school for marginalized #Indigenous and other youth. It's a unique program that has extra supports that keep youth in school. I get to tell our story in the #yeg community and raise support. Big thanks to Spartan Controls for this donation.
