Now imagine a user decides to include poison into the list of ingredients or use a different type part or bolt not as stated in the manualā¦ things are likely to go wrong. Is it then that the author didnāt write it the book well or make themselves unavailable for such scenarios to come about?
Youād still agree that itāll be beneficial to know the author right? In case you want clarity on anythingā¦ especially if that book contains a life and death situation. Say to feed you family or to transport your family.
Now the author of those books knows their intentions and purpose through and throughā¦ and as you said it is well written, and easy to understand. Say they donāt use any figure of speech that requires further elaboration by the author themselves.
The Bible says in Rom 12:2 to not be conformed to the world but always renew your mindā¦ towards being able to test and approve what is good and perfect intentions of God. Many Christians donāt do thatā¦ so that fault doesnāt go to the book or its authors itās the consumer failing to test the word.
My point is it is well writtenā¦ on account that itās a book that was compiled by various authors who lived years apart and yet had the same singular messageā¦ non contradicting the other. The book has stood the test of timeā¦ even when used by they with evil intentions it remains.

My biggest fear came to passā¦ I might be better off for it, but still very much havenāt let go of it. š
More than anything I really wish to be able to comprehend social cues at the appropriate timeā¦ I really donāt like that I offend people because I lack an inherent understanding of the weight of my actions in diverse social contexts.
Now would you say thatās a problem with the math book? That the math book is lying? Because of its choice of translations?
Itās like having a bad math teacher who says 1+1 is 11, probably as a result of a text book translation using Roman numeral II instead of 2. If the teacher doesnāt know what Roman numerals are and tells the students that itās 11. Those student would adopt a skewed understanding of math foundation.
They donāt have correct understanding of it because most donāt read it for themselvesā¦ most go off the interpretations of a teacherā¦ most only open their bibles when they gather in church. If the teacher has a skewed understanding thatās what theyāll pick up.
The problem with threat to American democracy is less that a liar is trying desperately to usurp it, and more that there are people out there who genuinely support him. This, not in a sense of wishful thinking but wholeheartedly.
I could try to explain somethingās in the very simplest termsā¦ because in their true spiritual meaning youād think Iām another insufferable foolish religious zealot.
Priests were meant to be men carrying voices of Godā¦ thatās why God doesnāt like anyone adding or taking from his word because it causes misunderstanding and misrepresentation.
And this again is another example of men being menā¦ even in the Bible after God showed himself to men in different marvelous ways they still went astray. God never liked this and didnāt tolerate it and everytime he tried to do something about it it appears as if he doesnāt like his creation.
Bring up any talking point and Iāll show you what the Bible view is on it. If youāll indulge me Iāll show you many who claim to have read the Bible can never understand it, if they donāt first believe that God exist and he loves them.
MISUNDERSTANDING now skews the world view of those who tried to learn from a skewed perspective. But if you read the Bible youād see that there are very few Christianāsā¦ many donāt know the God the Bible speaks about. Many see an opportunity for political and financial control.
The Bible is not badly written, even with different translations the message is one. But look at it this way, if a wicked man sees the potential of the message of the Bible then what can stop him from skewing that message? nefariously or unintentionally its effect is inevitable. āMISUNDERSTANDINGā
Chronological records of God relationship with men shows this accountā¦ a time when men had no law, a time they were given the law and a time when the law is fulfilled and grace was given to all. One consistent thing is that in all of time the heart of man stayed desperately wicked.
God gave us free will but also to take responsibility for our actionsā¦ man by himself could decide things good and bad but God knows that the heart of man is impossible. Such that even their good can never be perfect. Thatās why Jesus says no one is good but God.
I hope you come to understand the truth before itās too late.
Iām not upset over itā¦ not in the way one might consider being upset at leastā¦ you struck up a conversation and Iām simply pointing out the fault in logic. Ny argument is thus conclusion from a lack of understanding doesnāt make a thing true. I concede that itās your truth though.
I didnāt quote any scriptureā¦ from my pov, your stance is exactly the same as those who says theyāve done their research but donāt have the prerequisite knowledge to comprehend the scientific paper that āsupposedlyā supports their research.
The Bible itself is not horrific. Peoples interpretation and conduct with it is tend to be. Especially if theyāre not obtaining comprehension by the spirit behind it.
When we say the Bible is the word of God we donāt just mean it is what God saidā¦ we mean it is an account of Gods relationship with man in times past towards the revelation of his son to us as a means of our salvation and reconciliation to himself.
Firstly the council of Nikea didnāt convene to determine biblical canonsā¦ the Bible is made up of two main testaments the old and newā¦ Old Testament including Jewish manuscript such as Torah, nevim and ketuvim, and the new compiling writings of the apostles which was agreed upon at council of hippo.
400 years to assemble manuscripts and translate it to a language that the common people could understand. Whatās wrong with that.
You werenāt looking for faults but your intentions were still so off you would never have seen the truth if it was standing in front of you. You were reading to fulfill a sense of duty not reading to know God, since you donāt even believe in him.
Itās a no brainer if you read the Bible to look for faults and not out of genuine desire to know God.
Firstly the Bible doesnāt teach that a child is born tainted but that theyāre born to inevitably be corrupted by the world. Just as there are good teachers there are also bad teachers. Thatās why this important that you know the Bible for yourself and not pick up narratives.
Financial support is meant to be for the church any preacher who uses it greedily for themselves the Bible calls them serpentsā¦ at the same time it doesnāt mean a clergy man canāt come into wealth from his own decisions and or blessings from other men who genuinely gives to him.
I pray you come to see the truth some dayā¦ and stop living with no understanding of God.
And with all you just said, I am more convincedā¦ you and most people like you donāt even know what the message of the Bible is.
The Bible is not a book to prove God exists, it already takes on that posture. Hence, if youāre reading it for proof you wonāt find it. For it is to bring those who believe that God exist to a knowledge of him and his ways. And Iām willing to Test you. Because you know the words but not the message.
