I love this episode so much. The score is excellent, the pacing is top tier, we see parts of the ship we haven’t seen before, and it is creepy AF. A highlight of season 2 for sure.

What is The Last Frontier?
I could never pick one, but season 3 for me is unequivocally my favourite season with almost all of the episodes being absolute belters. On top of the pile would be The Defector, Who Watches the Watchers, and BOBW Part 1!
That’s because they don’t have a narcissistic boss who spends 45 minutes of the meeting pontificating about how smart and important they are. Even Kirk in TOS, who comes across as arrogant to me, listened to the crew he worked with and wasn’t in it to feed his ego unlike several bosses I’ve had.
I’ve seen it probably the most of all TNG other than Best of Both Worlds Part 1, because the Troi/O’Brien/Ro dynamic is electric.
