Very true. But Federal judges have been ordering the reversal of those mass firings. I sure hope it sticks.
Schumer had a reasonable argument in the NYT describing how Musk really wanted the shutdown, and was ready to accelerate the dismantling of federal departments when it happens. Courts would be stopped or slowed way down, many of the poorest would suffer more. Itās a tough call.
