I really don't know why they aren't more common. Which is why I've decided it's because not enough people know, so I've crowned myself spokeswoman for netted hats 😆
I have other nets that I can put over any hat I want, and they come in practically every color, and next year I'm gonna coordinate my outfits so hard
They sell hat toppers! I have a pack of 3 that I can throw over any hat. I have some design ideas to make them more integrated, but for now they do the job they were purchased to do.

I read that study. Overall, it turned out to be a generally *good* effect as it seemed to aid in the healthy processing of traumatic or distressing events/memories Not at all surprised they're going the opposite direction with the study just because they know very few will read the source material.
I needed a void to scream into while burning my life to the ground and trying to rebuild on the other side of the country. Some internet people started screaming back and suddenly I wasn't alone in the ashes anymore. Now I can't leave because I'm addicted to having friends.

Depends on what I'm going for. I prefer edibles overall, but like vapes or smoking for more strain-specific effects. Humboldt Headband and Ice Cream Mintz are top for me, with Space Queen a current favorite.

I think I knew that once, but the one I've been going to for the last 20 years was always attended on the first weekend in October. While it was a weeks-long event, the annual family reunion (which was at the same venue every year) landed on that weekend.

I found a really cool stick, and it immediately transformed me into Gandalf the Grey where I annoyed my little Frodo with an unrelenting –and quite horrible– Ian McKellen impression for the rest of the walk. Stick must be magic, because it stopped as soon as I put it down. So mysterious.
Yup. Last time a random act of existing threw out my back, I was probably closer to 30 and was lifting a gallon of milk off my counter to put it back in the fridge. Bodies throw the biggest fits over the tiniest things 🙄
I always leave a relationship with the console. It's how I acquire new systems. Find a gamer with the latest system, get joint custody of the console, then take it with me when I leave because "it loves me better" Got my original GameCube and current PS5 that way 😆

I have a favorite season. It's not summer, it's not autumn. It's that liminal space between them where the colors are just starting to change, but everything is still so alive. It's magical and colorful and so fleeting. Blink, and you might miss it. This is my season.

I'm actually hoping it'll make me use my tablet more, not for socials, but for my writing and art.
I was hoping to be lucky in that regard, but I ended up staying over there AND here and am working to build a new potato bushel because I couldn't leave the potatoes the migrated over here anymore than I could leave the potatoes that stayed on Threads.
This is my place to be truly unhinged. I go political, horny, angry, silly, etc. All vibes are safe here. Threads is still my curated happy place. Art, silly, antics. No yucky. I want to move over here all the way, but I can't seem to leave so many of my potatoes behind.
There's no social media on my phone at all, except insta because I only use it as a DM potral in a pinch. I don't open that app of my own free will 😂 All that stuff will have to be done on my tablet now, which will mean having a more intentional approach to my use.
I only really got into social media when Threads launched and I needed a safe place to vent away from my now ex and his family. Didn't work out that way, but nevertheless, I found out why people call social media "addicting"
