Until I see how they look vs Tennessee on Saturday, it’s hard to tell. UConn and Colgate are really the only sure W’s right now. Their road slate is absolutely brutal.
I think they’ll be better than their record indicates, but they lost a lot on both sides of the ball. I think 5-7 is a realistic expectation given the schedule

I don’t think they’ll be a bad team. It’s just that with that schedule, the potential for a good record just isn’t there.
The Tennessee game will be a litmus test, but SU’s schedule is so brutal I could see them going 4-8. Even the home games other than UConn and Colgate are toss-ups honestly.

West Coast IPAs like Jai Alai are a lost art. The vast, vast majority of hazy/juicy NEIPAs are terrible.

I was today years old when I found out Hank Azaria has a (pretty decent) Bruce Springsteen tribute band.

One exception I can think of is Corona. While it’s not even one of my favorite Mexican beers, it’s best in the bottle with lime.
Just a preference, but you don’t taste much of the beer you’re drinking if you’re drinking right from the bottle. Plus cans are easier to transport, stay colder longer, and are easier to dispose of.
Glass bottles are really not a good vessel for beer. I’ll take can or draft first 10x out of 10 on almost any beer where there’s a choice
Coors Banquet really has become my go-to beer over the last year or so. The perfect balance of value and quality. I prefer the cans to the stubby bottles though.

The two best athletes to come out of my area in my lifetime are Mike Hart and Breanna Stewart. Their whole hs careers, they were playing a different game than their peers. If you look at Mike’s stats, those are all from first halves of games he played.

He’ll say differently, and he should, but the stakes are not that high at SU. He could get things rolling Coach P style and go 8-4ish every year, but his aspirations are NC’s, and that’s not a realistic goal here.
I love Fran and hope he stays at SU for a long time. He’s doing just about everything the right way. But realistically, if he has any type of real success this year given the schedule, some SEC or Big 10 program is going to fire their coach to hire him.
Maybe it’s a little bit of an inferiority complex, but I feel like what Fran Brown is doing is putting into practice what he’s going to do once he gets a bigger job.
Griffin being the HC is a weird move. He and the rest of the SU staff should be coaching for their jobs this year. Just seems like a strange time for a side gig like this.

The name is fine. The uniforms are cookie cutter and I feel like the navy/baby blue combo is over-used by teams in all leagues lately.
Like, I don’t disagree that their hoops NIL isn’t where it needs to be, or that getting a guy with resources like AW back in the fold couldn’t be beneficial, but ET’s whole approach is really off-putting.
