If your state runs elections correctly, that doesn’t happen. They can try, but they have to use a provisional ballot, which is cross checked after all the info is in on election night before they are counted. Making people have ids is harmful to the underprivileged. I’m not ok with that.

Not all states do. In DE we show that when registering. When voting, you only need your voter card. The past two elections, when you bring your voter card, they run it through the scanner (it has a bar code) & it prints out your ballot to take to the machine.
Ou state (DE) requires all of that when you (1) register at the elections office, or (2) get your driver license. You only have to show your voter card after that.
