I first fought alongside Jerry Nadler when we took on a corrupt bankruptcy system that was rigged against working families. When New Yorkers needed a champion, Nadler always had their backs. He’s a man of principle, and I’m deeply grateful for his years of public service.

I didn’t vote until I was 25 because I honestly didn’t know how it worked (like where to go). That may sound stupid, but that’s what happens when you’re an introvert and civics is barely covered as a chapter in social studies.
