The president has executive power! There is a *lot* of stuff he can do even without the senate and Congress
I think on the major issue that affects most of us - which is foreign policy, which of course the president has executive power on - Trump is erratic and narcissistic but able to be flattered into different positions, whereas Vance is just blatantly ideologically lined up with the bad people.
A lot of people replying appear to have a great deal more confidence in the Republican Party establishment than I do, imma gonna say.

Eh I liked First Steps a lot but it’s a 7/10 and Thunderbolts is an 8.5/10. Ensemble work, and getting more from less. Plus, there’s just nobody in F4 as magnetic as Florence Pugh, she’s just great
