Absolutely. “Otherness” is the symptom. Fear underlying that. Fear that is based on ignorance.
It is horrible and so unnecessary. I have a trans female 2nd cousin that transitioned as an older adult with wife and kids. (So far family staying together)and good friends of mine with an adult trans son. And neighbors with trans kids. I really care about these people and this whole topic.
Science is something that humans made up. Science is a process and a method. There’s a fundamental, objective Truth/Reality. Humans us multiple methods to describe it and figure it out.
It has nothing to do with Hamas or any holy war or any desire to kill people.

I think it’s how it’s talked about. I don’t think it should be a major issue but I can see it is. I think science has a role to play and it’s just an aspect of fairness and competitiveness like other doping is illegal. There’s a range of body types and hormones etc in cis people as well so.
I know the sports has been an issue. I can see some of the concerns but think there is a way for each sport to work things out. It seems that concerns need to be addressed on a sport by sport basis at the (maybe high school?) college/elite levels, professional? I don’t know. Devils in the details
I clearly see that rights have been lost recently under Trump. Wee rights already decreasing prior to Trump? At some point they seemed to be increasing now they’re decreasing. I’m not sure the inflection points and it may vary by state or location.

You have to be strategic. In order to do that you have to learn how the systems work in your area and where and how to engage. It took us 10+ years for my Representation to change from almost all Red to all Blue (city, state, federal, President). I’m now back to Red President and red state senate
Yes, resisting fascism is the priority but it is not the only serious problem we have. We can deal with more than one problem at a time. Building a large majority requires discussion about the issues we share in common. We must continue to dialogue and seek solidarity.
Strikes, boycotts, riots are how you take things apart. You always need politics to put them together and hold things together. Riots can’t deliver road projects or run schools or protect the environment. Destruction is costly. Incremental change is preferred but sometimes it is not sufficient.
Science is being destroyed. All of humanity will suffer because of what is going on.

Sounds like Kansas has a gerrymandering problem. That is difficult to overcome. This is why all politics is local. Each area has different issues. Maybe in the near term you need to take over Republican groups and at least de-MAGAfy them.
