I know this. I’m posing follow up questions the reporters should be asking.
Police reports don’t use facial recognition. Masks are for civilians. To hide their faces from our cameras and induce fear. Police reports take info from IDs of all involved. And if they don’t do this for officials involved, they’re wrong. No matter what government agency they’re with.
I think if I ever do leave, it will be too late.
When elections were coming, I said I’d leave the U.S. if the Republican won. Then it did, but I saw hope and figured I was exaggerating the danger. Ever since then, things get worse and I feel the same, but then I see a little hope and question my reasoning. Well, it’s only been downhill since Nov.
“You want a war? You got a war” “I didn’t say that.” “You hear that guys? He said he wants war! Go fight!” Anyway. I’m so damn tired of this division. We all live here. This country belongs to all of us. Why the fuck does the right think they’re so important their feelings trump the left’s?
Even most police have the sense to assess the situation and weigh the consequences: I guarantee none of them would see a school in the area and think it okay to shoot at a car that is safely driving away. ICE just resorts to anything that keeps their target from escaping - that bottom line kills.
I hope they do get hit by a bus.
I hope to god that when these deaths occur, the police reports actually identify the ICE agents responsible so they can be prosecuted and held liable whenever the judicial branch comes back to earth.
Seriously, the ICE training allows for protocols that include shooting at nonviolent immigrants driving away, in populated areas, with moving vehicles on the opposite side of their targets? If I’m on the other side of this and the bullets go through them to me… their training allows that?
You know, I find it odd that this quote even showed up in the affidavit of probable cause. It doesn’t have anything to do with the case, as it was neither said by the suspect, nor does it point to probable cause or help in identifying the suspect.
What’s sad is how little we have to go off of. Reporting by entities that we can’t trust, with so many handlers of the information, on officials that can’t be trusted to report honestly to begin with.
According to this affidavit, the suspect showed up to the university wearing one shirt, changed, then shot Kirk on the 10th. On the 11th, friend of family notifies authorities, then on the 12th when they find Tyler, he’s wearing the same shirt from the 10th. That he changed into to shoot Kirk. Weird
I believe that cognitive dissonance is running the show here. Talking with MAGA, when I prove 47 or his regime is not what they believe, explain it simple and break it down so it’s irrefutable, I see their brain breaking in their eyes until they figure out a way to explain it away to themselves.

I think a part of our problem in the U.S. is the dude was in a position to place loyalists in office before the case became a worldwide ordeal. I’m sure their ambassador would like to sweep it under the rug as well, he just didn’t climb high enough fast enough to make it happen.
Why are things like this able to be “settled” without being settled is my question. That both promotes money buying freedom, and encourages false accusations. I would think, anyway. Anyhoo, I never heard about these cases so I have some reading to do.
