They don't care about the real potential harms of SSRIs and I keep telling other people with PSSD that this administration doesn't have our interests in mind at all. It won't fund the research we need. It's just ableism, cutting people off of effective meds they're happy with.
That's not even the problem with SSRIs. People can have persistent side effects and can get random serotonin syndrome if they can't process a certain one. Genetic tests could help and should be required for a prescription. I want fully informed consent and better drug safety, not a ban.

Im doing the autism thing where I assume people know what I know when they very much do not. All we have is anecdotes, but I've seen people who were hurt by tapering off or titrating up too fast.
