On Remus: this would be his modern day look. He speaks many languages (hence how he woos everyone), but mainly French and English, tries to get in everyone’s pants, owns a warehouse on the banks of the Seine but is a free spirit and travels, looking for someone to share eternity with but even his 🖤
I’ve got so many of my own OCs, I haven’t considered pairing them with other peoples’ OCs! In a way, I think my writing style forbids it, as they’d have to mesh into the existing world for it to work, and it would take major tweaking to do so.
Right now my favorite OC ship is Shard and Lenore in The Villains Secret Bride (working title). Goody two shoes and a heartless villain fall in love. Their push and pull is 🔥
I’ll usually have an idea or get inspiration from my day to day life, then let the character loose on the page. I’m mostly the referee
I write my characters as a way to escape as well as explore the deeper relationships between the OCs and their worlds
Villain OCs: The Master (I won’t elaborate) Shard (force powers) The Reaper (psionic powers) Valerius (misunderstood undead magus) Relish the Clown (comic character) Zorinth (an illithid denying its nature to cling to its old life and love) Lillian (age old vampiress) And many more
My favorite OC (can I really call him an OC?) is Remus, a vampire that’s lived to see the establishment and fall of Rome, mistaken to be dead, lover not a fighter and once laid with Nostradamus (and pretty much every other historical figure). I love him cause he’s cracked but in a good way, ♾️ 24
My newest OC is the Duchess Sophia, a bored noble who gets kidnapped by the villain shortly after her honeymoon to the awful Grand Duke and begins a large-scale revenge plot against the monarchy with the villain’s help.
My oldest OC is probably a young woman named Elizabeth who spends her life in hiding due to her family being vampires, unbeknownst to her. Very original, I know. I wrote her when I was 14 on an old clunker computer
