Going to play Clair Obscure, just one question. On the subject of story/narrative. Compared to Xenoblade 3, is it as reptitus/redunant? While I did like story of XC3, sometimes it took ages to get to the point, which it then repeated ad nauseam. The Japaneese syntax did it no favours either.

Sadly I have more bad than good memories. Remember the start was drawn out to breaking, the mech was super disappointing and while the story was pretty intersting the characters were beyond annoying. XC 2 and 3 I liked a lot more, but never player played xcx again after, so maybe its time.

I knew after the 1st 2 hunts I had to power through the story. My eyes didnt stop rolling untill high rank. If this was my 1st MH game, I dont think I would have made it to the low rank credits. The story is just so forcee, boring and predictable.

Foto mode is ass altogether tbh, it lacks so many options I thought were pretty basic since ps4 times. Lighting/time of day, hide stuff, pause the game but still be able to move the camera.
The story had me eye rolling and hovering over the skip button multiple times. I did watch it out of some kind of twisted obligation. To be fair you have to have your 1st rpg story sometimes, and this is pretty much "my first rpg" Good thing the actual hunts and fashion are still top notch.
