iirc asbel doesnt show uo until the midpoint of nausicaa. so obvious this starts off with action as asbel (called milo in the dub??) escapes the fortress. he encounters nausicaa (princess zandea) and theres mandatory cis love at first sight also hed be a prince too
so i legit had to look up who this was and it was *asbel*, who i 110% forgot was even IN the movie or that he used the gun. the reasoning for this was because the producers thought the movie wouldnt sell with a girl lead. asbels looking way older and blonde but ok then, wotw. you do you
tho i need to point out something: wotw has FIVE characters, two of which dont necessarily have an equivalent in nausicaa. it also looks like a dude (with GUN!) is thr mc and nausicaa is...a love interest? side character??
