Doing my Excellion research for the diss track and finding that the new deco isn't directly based on Cybertron Excellion or Galaxy Force Red Exillion who both have orange on the chest but none of them paint the flame shaped sculpting in the center as the orange bit! (Pics from da wiki)

It sure is miraculous that they got Galactus so right when you start thinking about it. And the way they worked in multiple points of comic canon to his arc in the film rather than making up new stuff. Which is Bob in this for the most part. But like yes, his comic history is problematic.
Hey yeah Thunderbolts was alright. I think there's still a lot of visuals with the Sentry/Void that were kind of left out and I don't quite get why he has telekinesis now but he was definitely the backbone of the film which actually had a lot of Themes and Symbols and that going on for an MCU piece

It's like what can you even say about this toy? He has ankle tilts now. Uhhhhhh they've extended his knee spikes. The weapon comes off now. Beyond the spikes being sprung he does all the same stuff. He doesn't split at the crotch anymore and gets a waist now. No little green dots.
Sideways! Yeah this is a weird one. So few Gens updates have been so 1to1 I don't know if it's what I wanted. I've not got Cybertron Sideways. Only Universe Ratbat. Does this fill the gap? Dunno. No clear plastic is a bummer. Is it an improvement? No, a sidegrade

I have a very long list of why this robot mode isn't good enough. The unforgivable cardinal sin is the missing arm pipes especially on the Hot Rod deco! But the deco is very nice. He can now stand without wobbling at least.
Like most of the world I couldn't get Legacy Cybertron Hot Shot so Excellion will salve that wound. Here's his cyber key which I appreciate the use of a shiner silver on in place of the original chromed symbol. I will now proceed to never touch it again. Goodbye

It's currently the only thing I could gripe about. So many of the toys work the same that it could quickly become boring if they don't introduce a little more zazz in coming waves. Here's hoping the rule for every line applies here and it really hits some bangers in due course. It's already strong!
I'd say Cyberworld goes so far as making conversions you absolutely don't have to think about the line wide norm for the 1st time. It's all gestural. It's lightning fast without being spring loaded. Does that detract from the enjoyment of the process? For me at 32 yeah a bit but kids will love it
Like the ROTB ones are a very mixed bag. Plenty of stuff that feels like it could have been much more straightforward even on the relatively simple level of engineering they use. Kibbly and kind of roundabout conversion steps where it didn't need to be like that. Cyberworld is no nonsense intuitive
This was always the real Cyberworld comparison to make for me. The ROTB Battle Changers were good little toys. Finally taking that One Step price point and just doing a normal transformer in that budget. But they didn't do enough. Cyberworld is fixing that. Less involved yes, but for the better?

Going back to Stardust Crusaders, it sure does feel like most Stand users have more than one ability. It's like by the time you got to part 6, how would you describe what Hierophant Green actually does? Later Stands only have one effect that summarises the user's power. The early ones do all sorts

Ok I've snapped and ordered Snarl cos he seems to be the most common on ebay. But paying that extra £2.99 for what should be a tenner toy is a small sting. These should have been the flavour of the summer but someone at hasbro is asleep at the wheel.
