I'm not defending watching sports as a great use of time, but the barrier to playing Minecraft myself is wildly lower than playing football myself. All of that said, use your downtime for whatever you want.

Their denial about Project 2025 was so half-assed and unconvincing. "I don't know anything about that even though all of the people who wrote it were my close advisors and influential policymakers in the last administration." They thought voters were stupid and they were right.

They're just pulling a different lever to produce the same outcome, right? Post-COVID spending put more money in peoples' pockets allowing companies to raise prices, while tariffs directly make goods more expensive.

You're probably right, but applying zero pressure certainly isn't going to work - we're never going to get bipartisan support by letting the GOP steal majorities in Congress with this practice.

The issue isn’t that there are revolting deranged bigots in America. The issue isn’t even that they have their own following. The issue is that they are prominent advisors and friends to the President of the United States and his team.

Thanks for fighting this nonsense. Regulation is already way behind AI and we absolutely cannot afford to let this thing spiral even further out of control.

Ugh, this is such a baited trap. They're going to find some obviously horrendously people as test cases and make Democrats defend the rights of child molesters or something.

Also, taking the employee's health insurance cost directly out of their paycheck is diabolical. Many people probably don't even perceive how much they are spending on health insurance because they never even see the money.
