i'll never get over or forgive this country's politicians & the rich for making me risk my life for food and housing whilst not paying me anything near what could begin to compensate for that.
reminder that even when "essential workers" (quotes not because i'm drawing doubt on that term applying to these people, but that it's use by the gov't was and is disingenuous) were risking their lives & health, they were not really being recognized in higher wages. pay them a living fucking wage.
for reference i ran a literal label for like a year and whilst we had 1 release before i realized i was setting money on fire, we actually had a distro partner. it's not impossible to get a deal even if no one knows who you are.
you really do get what you pay for and ik this from literal firsthand experience.
i'm begging you if you've spent that much money on your rollout, please figure out a distribution avenue that isn't like $35/yr or whatever.

it wouldn't fix EVERYTHING but it'd be a massive improvement if medical insurers were bound to ALL terms unless it's an add (PA policy, formulary, network, etc.) for the duration of a policy (usually a year), since consumers are literally picking up coverage w/ that insurer based on those terms.
something that makes no sense about insurance to me (in that, like great for the company, but why are consumers allowed to be subjected to this?) is that medical insurance is not locked into policy terms for like, a year (or until the policy ends before then).
