Immigrants in Denmark gets free schooling, free hospitals, paid higher education, unemployment-insurance, and - where relevant - rent support, child support, etc. We treat our immigrants better than any American blue state. Calling our policies "centered on the politics of JD Vance" is wrong.
William Jansen (@william3000.bsky.social) reply parent
"...but [Sanders] would not be "radical right" in Denmark." On immigration, he would. On everything else he'd be centre-right. I also think you are mixing up our immigration-policies and our housing-legislation.
William Jansen (@william3000.bsky.social) reply parent
"...your affinity for ethnic nationalism." Many liberal Americans prefer the Sanders-way - inclusive rhetoric, anti-refugee-policies - to the Danish way of tough rhetoric and comparatively liberal policies. I see arguments for either side, but not why one is "ethnic nationalism." Care to elaborate?
William Jansen (@william3000.bsky.social) reply parent
"Your country has a political consensus centered on the politics of JD Vance..." Danish immigration-politics are to the left of Bernie Sanders. Sanders would be considered radical right on immigration-issues, if he ever ran in Denmark.
