I feel you. Especially now as I’ve worked in wrestling for 2.5 years, I see more and more that most of the ideas that people online have of wrestlers in “real life” couldn’t be further from reality. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy who people are on TV and that’s okay. You should, actually.
Yea for me it feels like 2 places going in very opposite directions. Its why when I come here I have to go in with the mindset that if I don't 100% agree with a take I gotta not respond and move on or other wise be eaten and told I fit in with the other extreme. Its very with me or 100% against me.
That was the first one. MK2 on SNES left everything intact content-wise. It was actually a shockingly great port. Really only the PC and 32X ports could compare. Most thought it was better than the Saturn and PlayStation ports and those were way more powerful.

Yep. Sculptured Software did the terrible port of 1 on SNES, the excellent port of 2 on SNES and the equally phenomenal ports of 3 on both SNES and Genesis. Probe did 1 and 2 on Genesis and nothing after. Sculptured really excelled at audio in their ports, which is why 3 sounds so good on Genesis.
Sega seems to be using the graphic from the arcade. The SNES one is probably an entirely new render altogether

Reopened my BlueSky today for the first time in a while. I want to support the app but I’m just drained of the internet lacking a safe space for nuanced thought. I’ve watched this app tear down and shun people for takes that were fairly mild and that sucks. A space simply can’t grow that way.

My son broke the right temple to his glasses the other day and we can’t get him in to get a new pair until Friday. So he used his 3D printer to make a new one and it actually holds up. I’m extremely impressed.
I like the arcade music better. Feels more authentically Street Fighter.
Actually, it did make it into ONE console version. Super Street Fighter II on Sega Genesis. Not SNES though.
I had Genesis and the six button controller.
Hyper Fighting is also my favorite. Super Turbo really feels like an entirely different game with all of the presentation changes and the addition of supers. It’s good but it’s different. Hyper Fighting is the most Street Fighter II feeling game of the series.
