Not only is the “Code Name” theory silly, it doesn’t even do what it’s supposed to do- resolve continuity issues. It’s better to just not care about continuity at all.
Someone suggested that Telly Savalas should have played Lex Luthor and now I can’t unsee it. He was the best Blofeld because he looked like he could be both a physical threat and a romantic rival to Bond.
