Another related one to try is S-turns across a road or other straight line. The key to both turns about a point and S-turns is keeping the wind direction in mind as you’re moving around, and knowing what the wind does to your ground speed and turn rate.
If you’re plateauing, it’s a good idea to switch up to practice something different for a while (say, steep turns or maneuvering in slow flight) and then come back to the original topic. Having a break makes a big difference, and the skills are related.

One helpful thing Tom Nichols does is dig up the nastiest racists and bigots who cheer him on. It makes it easier to find the ones who have avoided the block lists.

I tend to agree, though I don’t think all issues are the same. Having 90% agreement but also a complete show-stopper in the last 10% is definitely a problem, and one to get out early. I have hope here, and I don’t think that’s who he is at all. But I understand others being more cautious.
I think the request for clarification is important. It maybe could have been worded better in the first reply. But it’s certainly the case that some have particular issues they want addressed. I don’t think that’s “perfection,” just a recognition that we don’t all use the same litmus test.
Oh, I agree. Just saying that his written position seems consistent with protecting kids as well - in particular referencing other Democrats who fall far short. That sounds to me like the kind of bigotry he says he opposes. So I see this as very promising.

I’ve heard combos like that before. Not an expert, but it’s as if the first verb establishes the tense and the second goes for the ride. I’d still say “he spat on the road” or “he’d spat on the road.” A bare “he spit on the road” sounds strange, as if “spits” was intended.
How’s that? We use those irregular past tense verbs in the US. But we don’t use them with “to be” as a linking verb. So “I am sat” sounds strange to an American. “I sat” is fine.
“They checked my O2 sat in the ambulance” works, but “I was sat” in the US does not.
There’s a non-zero chance this ends with the Russians invading Alaska to try to take it back, isn’t there?
