I truly hope so, but I’m not as sure as I was. When Fox News canned Bill O’Reilly I thought “They’ll never replace him,” then they slotted in Tucker without missing a beat or losing ratings. Rinse and repeat with Watters. I think MAGA might quickly embrace any lying, hate-spewer. Hope I’m wrong.
I still mostly think MAGA won’t really embrace JD, but some doubt is creeping in. I think to when Fox News replaced Bill O’Reilly with Tucker, and then Tucker with Watters, yet their ratings are as strong as ever in that slot. Spew enough hate and they’re all interchangeable.
How I miss Around the Horn. A fixture in my afternoon viewing for two decades. So shortsighted to cancel it.
I frequently flash back to the WI Supreme Court election (2020?) where Republicans forced people to vote in person while Covid raged. Turnout was massive as voters were pissed at having to literally risk their lives to exercise their rights.
Not really a fan of the sport (we watch the occasional race), but the movie greatly exceeded our expectations.

I canceled Paramount + after they ended Lower Decks (by far my favorite of nu Trek) so am only loosely aware of this season of SNW. Like BSG, I think SNW's first episode was its strongest. There have been other good and solid episodes, but way too much goofy fantasy for 10-episode seasons.
I like Pritker here, but I'm not writing off anybody yet. No candidate will be perfect. Newsom spearheading the effort to counter Texas' gerrymandering is more than just trolling. It can have a major impact on the entire country by determining who controls the House.
We need both and I am thankful for this. Democrats needs to get off this there is only one path to win and everyone must follow it in lockstep. Attack Trump by trolling, attack Trump by being showing better leadership qualities. As long as you don't say the word "distraction" I am good.

Probably not literally now, but a top priority when Dems get the trifecta. You'll probably have to neuter the SCOTUS first by adding more justices or else they'll rule any efforts to make DC a state unconstitutional. All of this would require nuking the filibuster.

Right now, we need the anger. We are an inclusive party, so if he is an outdoorsy guy who likes to workout, more power to him. My boyfriend is a hunter, fisherman, chops the wood for the stove. We have place in rural northern Minnesota and he loves it. He's also a strong democrat.
