The most recent vaccine hasn’t been approved yet, and likely won’t ever be approved if RFK has anything to do with it. I got a dose of last year’s booster last week. On the off chance that an updated version is released I will need to wait a couple of months to get it.

Yes, it would. Make the squares small enough and some urban districts would have a thousand people and there could be a rural district with two people. Districts must be drawn based on equal population, not equal acreage.
Under your plan, in California a single representative would represent the entire city of Los Angeles with millions of people. The representative in the Northwest corner might have a few thousand. Doesn’t seem very fair to me.
