idiocy is not a valid defence for breaking the law. The way PA chose to go about this particular act of civil disobedience was terrorism. They broke into an active RAF site and attacked an RAF aircraft. This will not garner sympathy, but antipathy, and played into the hands of their targets.

What arresting the protestors against PA's proscription shows that Labour are more than just pretty awful at listening to the concerns of the populace. And if they're not listening to voters, who are they listening to?
However, arresting the protestors for protesting against the governments proscription was complete overkill. The government should understand the root cause of the protests and reconsider the proscription of PA, perhaps under certain conditions, as PA's point is certainly valid. Their methods, not.
