I promise you, doctors have no liability is misdiagnosing patients, or even not diagnosing patients. There is no legal recourse for misdiagnosing people. None, you just find another doctor and hope they do a better job.
Yes, empathy and understanding would be good. But what happens when doctors have small amounts of empathy or understanding? You have to also understand so many people got the shit end of the stick in matters of health care

I dunno, my experience with health care, AI couldn't do a worse job. Maybe AI would have found both my cancers early without doctors ignoring the symptoms for years while collecting money for office visits? Maybe? Maybe it is time for medical professionals to admit some do a terrible job?
