I must add that it also depends on the state laws on whether the laws are mandated connected to the CDC and/or HHS. Some states are trying to get around this by tying the law to the clinicians' credentialing board that's their specialty. But in general, no we aren't obligated.

I do know more and more states are setting up laws to make it more mandatory to follow the guidelines of the clinician's board that gives them the credentials to specialize in their field.
