One of the priests who worked for Cardinal Law helped to make the arrangements. I was declared incompetent and my parents were given power of attorney. The Doctor then said that all the abuse was a delusion. They then billed Medicare for the “treatment” which had noting to do with healing me.
I am one of those. It gets into the weeds a bit but I’ll try to make it simple. A child can’t sue for malpractice on their own behalf. If that’s child’s parents are also abusive then an unscrupulous doctor can give a concierge diagnosis to the parents in exchange for malpractice on the child.
