When I moved to CO in '94, wanted and planned to live there. Got a job but no places to live (ended up in Aspen). Elk Ave. was the only paved street. FFW and ended up living there several years during the early aughts, love and miss it terribly.
You will love it! We got married (and lived) there! On 9/17 - aspens peaking and a dusting of snow.
Most beautiful place to live and I will regret moving away from there for the rest of my life. 😭

Please do, one of my favorite authors. He was prolific but did not publish much at all. He's kind of like a literary Prince in that it's suspected there's just a huge trove of his writing that he refused to publish and upon his death didn't want released either. He was also very hermit like.
