This is what happens when care is left to profit-driven insurers. Families are left fighting terms and conditions instead of getting the support they desperately need. This is why we need our NHS. Free, fair, and there when people need it most šŸ’™

A Belfast family paid Aviva £60 a month since 2007 for critical illness cover, but when their 16 year old son with an incurable degenerative disease needed round-the-clock care, Aviva refused to pay out on a technicality.

Every day, 109 children are pushed into poverty because of the two-child benefit cap. Scrapping it could instantly lift up to 500,000 kids out of hardship and it could be funded just by raising online gambling tax from 21% to 50%. Do you agree that ending this cruel policy is a moral imperative?

There’s a Ā£50bn budget black hole, but Reeves has a choice: squeeze ordinary people again, or get the super-rich with yachts and mansions to chip in. A tiny 2% wealth tax on the richest 20,000 could raise tens of billions. The elite are lobbying hard to block it, but if we’re louder we can win.
