as someone born and educated (mostly) pre-personal computer. I still write notes by hand at work because I feel that the information "sticks" better than when I type it out on a computer. My handwriting has gotten worse over time, so there is even some brain challenge in re-reading my notes. 😆

I checked the details after reading the meme. I'm not condoning child marriage. I am pointing out that nuance and details matter. Every state has its own rules. E.g. Texas is Republican and has a lower limit of 18, unless an emancipated minor. Many states have increased restrictions over time.
It's Chad in Canada, especially since I live in a more conservative northern part of Canada and there are many Chads. Chud is a good alternative. "Don't be such a Chud."
this is why I'm completely unconvinced about Canada, or most countries (except maybe Trump-friendly ones, but even so...) reaching a 'successful' trade negotiation while Trump is in office. Dude is not, nor cannot be, trustworthy for a single second.
I'll note that it is also a Democrat issue too: California and New Mexico have no minimum age for marriage. And prior to 2000, underage marriage was legal in ALL 50 states. Some states that have been both Dem and Rep have and still have under-18 marriage in that time frame. Both sides are to blame.
