The main problem with these laws is that smaller entities like blue sky will have to either pay large sums of money to build infrastructure within their own application to carry out these age verification checks or pay a third-party vendor to do it for them, potentially putting that info at risk.

One big state would only get two senators. If you were to allow each of the ten provinces to become their own state, each state would get two senators of their own. Whether you have one n8g state or ten separate states, the total number of representatives for those states stays the same.
We already have issues trying to govern all of California at once and make sure everybody in California is properly represented. Same thing in states like Florida and other large states. You imagine trying to control Canada as one big state.
