Yeah when you put in an offer you generally put 20% down so you have to be darn sure you want to buy.

Do I recall that there basically aren’t penalties? In the U.S. you lose your earnest money so if you renege it hurts.
From when my friends tried to sell/purchase (in the UK) they had multiple offers fall through. It was awful.

Latest adventure in cursed earbuds: compared to the usual, where they are lost at the bottom of a coal mine, and then I get new ones and the old ones appear, this time they wouldn’t hold a charge for love or money. So I got new ones. And then I tried one last time - and they charge just fine.

CM soon! I have a trip next week and that is great because once I manage to ghost the happy hours (a skill at which I am proficient - stick around for long enough for folks to remember I was there, but then I vanish into smoke) I go back to my mini economy room and READ.

Early on someone describes him as a scalpel when he plays his harpsichord- which is why P’s emotion overwhelming her technical skill is relevant, I think. I think I also was paying a lot more attention to C as an observer of L and a friendship earned rather than expected.
I made Mac and cheese pie once and we decided it was too much carbs even for us. Even children were like, no, too much salt and fat.
I think it hit harder last time because I didn’t know it was going to happen. I wasn’t familiar with him as an historical figure and by that time I had stopped even looking at the little asterisks on the dramatis personae because I didn’t want to know. I wasn’t even reading the blurbs on the backs.

Caramelized, more. The innards are like a soft custard.
Which I also love. Ideally marbled.
I have done well making raised pies with an egg-enriched shortcrust. It has enough body to hold. I haven’t tried it with the juicy cook-for-ever meats though.

It has a very custard-y texture. I also love a Japanese soufflé cheesecake - really I love all the cheesecakes - but we have guests coming and I didn’t have time to chill anything, and this is convenient because you serve room temperature.
