For me Starmer's flag shagging yesterday was his Gordon Brown, 'bigot' moment Just so inept, poorly timed and unbelievably naive He really is a lost cause now
You will find me around the middle of the room. Outward looking because if you are not you get isolated and stop learning NHS for many years before retiring. Read a lot, listen a lot. Dovestones Reservoir ⬆️ I don't have access to DMs so don't bother!

Tice and his ilk don't do failure. It's not in their genes Always feels like they spent time with the consulting arm of Accenture - 'every failure is just an opportunity waiting to be exploited'

We always make sure we have the key words/phrases off pat before we even holiday somewhere! My brain doesn't retain them after a few weeks back, but it's about the effort In Vietnam we only had a few words but they always got a smile Wife's son lives in Cz. Now that is a difficult language!

Ahhh Well at least I'm old enough to remember Wilson being our PM! And I've lived in Lancashire for 12 years now even though some people claim my home is in Sefton! Have a good day yourself

It's an opinion piece, I get that but to not mention the LDs is an omission imo I'm not a LD member, but to ignore a middle ground party that already has over 70 seats (11% of the House of Commons) seems odd if not perverse I will agree there needs to be an alliance of some kind going forward

It's about context and timing By reacting to the flag 'shagging' by the right he is doing exactly what they want him to, being drawn into a debate about who owns the flag etc Any good leader wouldn't resort to personalising it in the way Starmer and Cooper did yesterday
